- In 2008, Pedro Babiak was re-elected president of the Contra Costa Taxpayers Association.
- Lighthouse Computer Group, LLC was the recipient of the Hispanic Business Salute 2003 award from Telemundo television and of was named 2003 Hispanic Small Business of the Year by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Contra Costa County.
- In 2000, Pedro Babiak was named to the Forty Under 40 list published by the East Bay Business Journal. The list featured 40 East Bay professional men and women under the age of 40 who were ”up and coming” in the East Bay.

Pedro "Pete" Babiak, CPIM 
Mr. Babiak has been working with computer hardware and software for more than 15 years both as an outside consultant for Fortune 1000 companies through Andersen Consulting, as a internal consultant for the Quaker Oats Company, and as manager of information services for a small company. Mr. Babiak is president of Lighthouse Computer Group, LLC.
